DMA SPECIAL FEATURE: ‘RIOPIANS UNITE’

Recently, DMA released event details on the huge next edition of ‘Return to Rio’ in March 2015.

But even with an amazing line-up and an ideal ‘out of the city’ venue, DMA is proud to hear that it will be the crowd or the ‘headliners’ that will make this event so unique and special.

returntorio What we’re most delighted to hear though at DMA, is that ‘Return to Rio’ is fostering the same ethos as many other amazing events right around the world and not just promoting another event, but a gathering – a full weekend gathering at that. For those of us lucky enough to attend some of the really spectacular music events right around the world, there’s no doubt that you learn quickly that it’s the people who make the experience and not just all the glistening production and always having a huge array of the world’s best artists performing at the one event. The real experience is also the experience that you share with the people around you. For many it means that it’s also a real opportunity to catch up with your friends and like minded individuals and enjoy true musical freedom.

After the recent highlighted sour experiences from some of the biggest dance music events in Australia, events like ‘Return to Rio’ and many other similar events are definitely a refreshing change for the conscientious dance music lover.

As promoter, Ricky Cooper of Return to Rio explains, “Due to the overwhelming love and creativity we felt at the last event, we thought at Rio HQ how much YOU the people make the party. You’re the essential ingredient in the ultimate weekend away, making the experience so very special, now it’s time to give you a more formal role in the proceedings and give you the appropriate headline status.”

Those attending Return to Rio can get involved, as guests are encouraged to do something spectacular to surprise and delight their fellow compadres. All in the hope, to enhance the shared overall experience by all attendees.

Here at DMA, we can’t wait to be part of the enriched experience that Return to Rio hopes to achieve when it returns on March 20-22nd, 2015. We’ll definitely be there to help someone put up their tent, or caddy for someone on the mini golf course, or who even knows we might even end up even instigating the longest conga at a dance music event in Australia.

In the mean time though enjoy the highlights from the last edition below. Also visit here for more information regarding Return to Rio and how to start searching for that golden ticket.
